Iron man Mask

3D printing opens the door to endless creativity, and one of my favorite projects was printing a full Iron Man mask. It took many hours and multiple pieces, but the final result was worth it. I used PLA filament for smooth edges and added magnets to snap the faceplate in place. Whether you're into cosplay or just want a cool display piece, some of the character masks are a really fun challenge. Beyond that, I’ve printed action figures, sports necklaces, and even custom keychains. With the right model and a little patience, you can turn your favorite characters into real-life collectibles that look like they came straight out of a movie!

Airless Basketball

Another exciting project was printing an airless basketball. Inspired by the Wilson prototype, I found a similar model online and used flexible PLA called PLA-SPLAT that gives it bounce and durability. It took a lot of filament and almost 48 hrs, but the result was a futuristic-looking ball that actually worked. No air pump needed! It’s all structure and smart design. Printing sports gear like this blends engineering with play, and it’s a great way to learn about material properties and different print settings. I’ve also tried printing frisbees & mini golf putters. Whether you're testing performance or just having fun, 3D printing lets you create gear that’s customized, functional, and totally unique.
